From Waulkmill Ferry or via Scone racecourse road to the Goldcastle hut. Any gates, which were closed must be closed behind you.
Turn right after the Waulkmill Ferry sign towards the fishing hut. The gate is padlocked with a combination padlock - the combination is on the permit.
Travelling to Goldcastle, follow the Racecourse Road past all the Racecourse buildings and keep the Racecourse on your left. As the road swings left at the top of the Racecourse, near the river, there is a track off to the right. Take that track all the way to Goldcastle hut. There is a locked gate, with a combination padlock. The combination will be on the permit. Lock the gate after you pass through. Note that the new Tay Crossing will be constructed close to the Goldcastle hut - details will be sent as soon as PDAA knows what is happening.
There is a good footpath all the way from Waulkmill to Goldcastle which does allow options on where you park.
